Warren preps as snowstorm approaches

Expect an on-street parking ban in Warren Wednesday afternoon or evening, as a storm that could drop a foot of snow on the region Thursday approaches.

Officials from Warren's police, fire and public works departments are expected to meet Wednesday morning to discuss their preparation for the storm, which is expected to arrive late Wednesday. Apart from the snow, winds are expected to blow 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts over 50.

Police Lt. Roy Borges said officials will likely make an announcement shortly after the meeting regarding when roads will be closed to parking. Check back for updates as they become available.
