Monday, Dec. 18

Alfred J. Grundy, 51, of Child Street, was picked up on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.

A caller from Water Street reported hearing a woman yelling. Police spoke to the woman, who said nothing was wrong.

A Bagy Wrinkle Cove resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

Police spoke to two kids who are spotted throwing ice at cars passing on Child Street.

Andrew E. Stanzione, 30, of 4 Paul Court, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Serpentine Road.

A caller from Metacom Avenue called the animal control officer for a cat stuck under a washing machine.

A Kinnicutt Avenue woman called police after UPS sent her package to the wrong address.

A caller reported a panhandler at Market and Main streets.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

A garage on Coomer Avenue was broken into.

Kerianne Bettencourt, 40, of Fall River, was charged with possession of narcotics after an arrest at Miller and Union streets.

A Maple Street woman reported the theft of her camera.

Jessica Laureano, 39, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, first offense.

Wednesday, Dec. 20

A caller from Touisset Road told police that someone has been using credit cards that belong to her sister, who is presently incarcerated.

A Harris Avenue woman reported that her son’s watch was stolen.

Police got a complaint about a barking dog on Harris Avenue.

Thursday, Dec. 21

Two roommates unhappy with each other’s company got into an argument at a Child Street apartment. Police advised one how to get a restraining order to have the other removed.

A caller from Bay Street told police that a coyote attempted to attack her dog.

Police were called to the Hugh Cole School after a student refused to leave.

Miggel A. Odio, 46, of Providence, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, first offense.

Police got a call that a man waving a flag was running in and out of traffic on Main Street.

Friday, Dec. 22

A caller told police that it appeared that the car driving in front of her on Child Street had something hanging out that was catching fire. It turned out to be a red rope, police said.

Fire crews spoke to a Long Lane resident who had an open burn, but no permit.

Marissa Constancia, 28, of Bristol, was charged with three counts of possession of narcotics after police arrested her at the Franklin Street Park ’N Ride.

A woman on Main Street said she could hear a child screaming from help near her home. Police found nothing, however.

Saturday, Dec. 23

A Read Avenue man told police that money was missing from his safe.

Vasco Castro, 27, of Bristol, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct, domestic simple assault/batter andy domestic vandalism malicious injury to property. The arrest came about after police received a call from Serpentine Road that someone had driven over a resident’s lawn and left; however, the driver left his bumper behind on the grass.

A Martin Street man reported arguing with and being pushed by his wife.
