Warren police logs: Men arrested with BB gun
Monday, Nov. 13
Kristin O. Trexler, 46, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of her license, after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue at 8:12 a.m.
Ruddy M. Rodriguez, 25, of Providence, was cited for possession of marijuana, one ounce or less, after police pulled him over at Main and Vernon streets at 10:12 a.m.
The Rhode Island DEM was notified after police got a report that someone was dumping paint into the Palmer River at Market Street.
An Asylum Road man called police after discovering that someone took out a credit card in his name.
A Main Street man reported a recent argument with his neighbor.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
Police got a call about an unruly customer in a Child Street business.
A two-year-old walked away from his Kenny Drive residence but was located eight minutes after the initial call came in.
Two men were charged with firearms offenses after a traffic stop and car search yielded at least one BB gun under a seat. Charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license and carrying a pistol without a permit was Noel K. Hernandez Jr., 20, of Providence. Passenger Carlos E. Vargas, 19, of Providence, was also charged with carrying a pistol without a permit. Passenger Myles Brandon Clark, 21, of West Warwick, was not charged but was investigated, police logs noted. Warren Police Lt. Roy Borges said the weapon seized was a BB gun.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
A Market Street man complained that another man took money from him.
A Milwaukee Avenue resident reported fraudulent credit card use.
Alexander J. Morris, 29, of Providence, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, BAC .15 or greater, after he struck a guard rail on Arlington Avenue at 11:52 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 16
A caller from Main Street reported finding vomit in front of his building.
A woman called police after she sold items to a man and later found out they were worth more than her asking price. Police advised her that nothing criminal had taken place.
Police and fire crews got a call that there was heavy smoke in the bedroom of a Kenny Drive home. It turned out to be a cooking mishap.
The animal control officer reported finding a dead deer on Market Street.
The animal reported finding a duck on Child Street. A few minutes later she reported that it might be a pet, and she would attempt to locate the owner.
Michael D. Harris, 34, of 61 Union St. was picked up on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.
Friday, Nov. 17
A coyote was spotted on Patterson Avenue.
Michael G. Lescault, 61, of 6 Greenlawn St., was cited for failure to stop at an accident after a minor accident at Market Street was called in at 5:42 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 18
John M. Silvia, 56, of Bristol, was charged with driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, third or subsequent offense, after police pulled him over on Marekt Street at 9:49 a.m.
Sunday, Nov. 19
A caller told police she’d locked her keys in her car on Main Street. Police were able to open the door.
