Warren man faces cocaine, marijuana charges

A Warren man faces multiple drug charges after police pulled him over while attempting to deliver a search warrant last Friday, Dec. 15. Graham Taylor Garvie, 59, of 162 Market St., first floor, was seen pulling out of his apartment and just as Sgt. Edward Borges, Sgt. Christopher Perreault, Patrolman Marc Ferreira and Patrolman Joel Morrissette attempted to execute a warrant. He was pulled over and a subsequent search of the car turned up cocaine in his possession. Upon searching his apartment officers located more narcotics, including marijuana, and a large quantity of cash. He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and driving while in possession of a controlled substance. Mr. Garvie was released after posting surety bail and is due back in court next month.
