Kristin M. Hayes, 35, Little Compton

Kristin M. (Wordell) Hayes, 35, of Little Compton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the wife of Leon R. Hayes. Mrs. Hayes was born in Fall River and was a lifelong resident of Little Compton. She was the daughter of Earl G. and Carol A. (Pelletier) Wordell of Little Compton. She dedicated her life to her family.

Survivors along with her husband and parents include her children, Haley C. Hayes and Austin R. Hayes of Little Compton; her sisters, Ashley E. Wordell of NJ and Lauren N. Wordell of Little Compton; her father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Catherine (Gaskell) Hayes of Fall River; sister and brother-in-law, Tara Chicharro and her husband Jerel; along with two nieces.

Funeral service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Monday, Oct. 10, at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, at 11:30 a.m.

Visitation will be from 8-11:30 a.m., on Monday at the Potter Funeral Home, prior to the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
