The Townies beat Hendricken in their 2016-17 season opener
EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence High School wrestling team opened up its 2016-17 Division I-A schedule last week with a victory over defending state champion Bishop Hendricken in city at Ramos Gymnasium.
The Townies defeated the Hawks, 42-34. Christian Hussey, Austin Phillips, Tyler Chagnon, Keegan Seagrave, Emmanuel Santiago, Cameron Bailey and Garret Olbrych won their matches for EPHS.
